Bucks sign 2nd-round pick Sessions (AP) - Point guard Ramon Sessions, a second-round draft pick out of Nevada, signed a multiyear contract with the Milwaukee Bucks. Sessions played four games for the Bucks at the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in July, averaging 5.8 points and 2.5 assists. "Ramon was an excellent college point guard and we think he can develop into a solid pro," Bucks general manager Larry Harris said Tuesday.

Rockets' Reed cleared of misdemeanor (AP) - Houston Rockets player Justin Reed was cleared of misdemeanor marijuana charges Tuesday because others submitted affidavits claiming the drugs, his attorney said. Reed was arrested on Sept. 4 and charged with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, which carries a fine from $100 to $250. He posted a $500 bond and was released later that night.

Blazers' Oden to undergo knee surgery (AP) - Trail Blazers center Greg Oden, the No. 1 pick in the NBA draft, will undergo exploratory arthroscopic surgery this week because of pain in his right knee. An MRI taken last week showed Oden may have some cartilage problems, general manager Kevin Pritchard said Monday. A timetable for Oden's return will be set following the surgery, which will take place Thursday in Vancouver, Wash.
